Targeted Technical Assistance
The technical assistance aimed at providing members in-depth interaction and technical assistance through other more experienced practitioner(s) with the intention to improve their overall practice of community-based accountability or for specific problem solving. This was achieved through the following:
Technical support in Bangladesh:
Abhijit Das (CHSJ) gave technical support to orient women mobilised by Naripokkho in Dhaka from 17-18 February, 2014.
Technical Support in Nepal:
With the support of CHSJ, Beyond Beijing Committee, Nepal  organised a half day introductory session on the concept of Community Monitoring and social accountability at Kathmandu, capital of Nepal. Rakshya Paudyal, who was part of the COPASAH workshop held in Mumbai, and second peer learning visit in Tumkur, introduced the concept of Community Based Monitoring and Social Accountability and discussed the principles, essential features, process and tools for community monitoring. E. Premdas  (CHSJ) supported the Nepal team through skype, email and with a personal discussion with the team members of BBC. Shreeti Shakya,  team member of CHSJ had also paid a day’s visit to BBC organisation to facilitate the process of initiating COPASAH discussions.  Related Write up:

Technical Support in Pakistan:
South Asia COPASAH regional coordinator and regional Secretariat (CHSJ, India) have provided continuous support to the proactive members of COPASAH in Pakistan. Continuous engagement has been made with COPASAH practitioner Gulbaz Ali Khan, of Citizen Engagement for Social Service Delivery (CESSD) for expansion of COPASAH in Pakistan and active discussions are ongoing with him in the region.  Skype discussion was carried out with Gulbaz on February 28, 2015 at the COPASAH global Steering Committee meeting held from February 28- March 1, 2015 in New-Delhi, India. COPASAH South Asia regional coordinators provided support to CESSD for setting COPASAH table at Primary Care Management Committee (PCMC) Conference held in Islamabad (Pakistan) on March 19, 2015. COPASAH products/material (pendrives, templates of banners, knowledge products) and copies of COPASAH Communiqué were provided to CESSD for the stall. The South Asia regional coordinator has elicited writings from Pakistan and these accountability experiences have been published in the COPASAH Communiqué.  Related Articles:
