Perspective building workshop on Health Rights and Community Mobilization

May 2-6, Sidhi (Madhya Pradesh)

CHSJ and Gram Sudhra Samiti (GSS) organised a five day Perspective Building workshop with Animators on Health Rights and Community Mobilization in Government Rest House, Parsili, Sidhi in which 13 village level animators, 10 village group leaders and two area facilitators participated.  
Objectives of the training:

  • To increase understanding on gender based discrimination and Gender based violence
  • To increase the knowledge and understanding on women's health Rights and related issues
  • To increase the impact of GBD and GBV on women.
  • To increase the understanding about the social accountability and it relationship with health.
  • To increase understanding about Health of Community and health system under NRHM.
  • To increase skill of leadership and mobilization.


Expected Outcomes of the training: 

  • Animators will have capacity to conduct meetings at village level.
  • Animators will have clarity about the project and their role & responsibilities.
  • Animator constitute the village level group.
  • Animator and other group members are talking and sharing about gender based discrimination.
  • Animators are supporting to women at home & family level and mobilising other group members for the same. 
  • Animators providing leadership to Group member to take initiatives on gender based discrimination in their family and community. 
  • Animators helping Group members to understand the social & health situation at village level.
