Capacity Building

CHSJ believes that Capacity Building is a core strategy while working towards evidence based policy change. It is our endeavour to develop leadership and operationalise capacities for improved design, delivery and monitoring of quality, accessible health care services. CHSJ has been conducting capacity building exercises with health related policy makers, public health managers, healthcare providers, other professionals who are involved in public health related research, training or advocacy.

We also believe that for practical application and sustainable results it is important that the trainings are rooted in the local surroundings and designed with scope for practical exercises and exposures. CHSJ conducted the following capacity building programmes in the last two years.

Leadership Development Programme (2009-2010)

CHSJ conducted a leadership development programme in collaboration with School of Public Health of University of Washington a leading public health school of USA, and National Institute of Health and Family Welfare(NIHFW) to strengthen the leadership role both within civil society and within the NRHM implementation mechanism to strengthen its implementation.
