COPASAH is a community where practitioners
who share an interest and passion for the field of community monitoring for accountability in health interact regularly and engage in exchanging experiences and lessons; sharing resources, capacities and methods; in the production and dissemination of conceptual, methodological and practical outputs towards strengthening the field; and in networking and capacity building among member organizations. |
Besides women who are subjected to certain specific forms of gender based violence,
other boys and men too suffer and become targets of the expression of masculinity. From our diverse efforts and work with communities we have learnt that it is difficult to challenge and change ideas of masculinities but not impossible. We have always had men from different social settings as allies in the work on gender equality. |
The National Coalition Against Two-Child Norm and Coercive Population Policies
has been formed as an outcome of concerns around population control and related coercion and for promoting policies that empower people to exercise their reproductive rights and choices. Advocacy can rarely be done alone. One of the key responsibilities of the coalition is to obtain a mandate from the very people who are facing the implications of coercive population policy prescriptions, for example the restrictions in the maternity entitlements to two deliveries. |

‘MenEngage Delhi’ a network started spreading its roots during the mobilization procedure
of the 2nd MenEngage Global Symposium 2014 with the idea of engaging men and boys for gender justice. It’s an initiative to engage men and boys of the city especially the youth for gender justice. It has reached out to Delhi’s youth with only one objective and that is to change the mindset of individuals about gender, masculinity and hetero-normative lenses of sexualities that are prevailing in our society. |
