The Voluntary Health Services (VHS) on Wednesday launched agreements to provide differently abled sections, especially children, access to multi-disciplinary care at its hospital complex in Taramani. Around 2,000 disabled persons under the folds of the Spastic Society of Tamil Nadu and The Tamil Nadu Handicapped Federations' Trust have been enrolled as members in The Dr. K.S. Sanjivi Medical Aid Plan, one of the earliest forms of health insurance extended in these parts.
