The Communicable Diseases Hospital in Tondiarpet has set up a quarantine ward to admit patients with A H1N1 symptoms. Other hospitals would be advised to allot such a facility if more cases are reported, a senior official in the Chennai Corporation said. Though the Corporation has not yet taken any decision on setting up quarantine facilities at the Central railway station, Koyambedu bus terminus or airport, officials would advise the State government if the infection spreads.
