The Punjab government is all set to recruit 1,214 doctors to meet the crunch of doctors in its various dispensaries across the state, especially in rural belt and border areas. “We have decided to hire 1214 doctors in the coming days. They will be posted at dispensaries and at civil hospitals, located especially in rural areas and in border towns,” Punjab Health Minister Satpal Gosain said. Besides this, 2,612 posts of paramedical staff would also be filled in the coming days. After the completion of recruitment process there would be no single dispensary or health center in rural areas, without doctors or required paramedical staff, he claimed. Read more...
