Authorities of Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Memorial Medical College (GSVM) has granted a new maternity wing for Upper India Sugar Exchange Jaccha-Baccha Hospital. The wing will be having 100 beds for patients along with an OT, OPD and NICU. Head of Department Gynecology, GSVM medical college, Dr Kiran Pandey, informed that as soon as the proposal of building will be sanctioned by National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), the work for building a new maternity wing will start at the hospital. The new wing will be established near the female hospital. The deadline for the construction of new wing is 1.6 years.
