New Delhi: 17th September 2013
The rise in the number of dengue cases in the capital has led to an acute shortage of beds at most hospitals in the city. In September alone, 304 cases of the mosquito-borne disease have been reported. A total of 466 cases have been reported this season. The municipal corporation claims there have been no deaths due to dengue so far, but reports from private hospitals suggest three dengue deaths have occurred in the past month.
