There is no relief for the 13 HIV positive children, including seven girls, rescued last week from Gurgaon after allegations of sexual abuse were made against the owner of the NGO that was sheltering them. The Gurgaon administration has not been able to find a permanent shelter for these children, even as the south Delhi NGO they were shifted to has expressed inability to provide them with permanent accommodation. The NGO says there is not enough space and infrastructure to take them in. The children are aged between six and 12 years, and some of them need special care as they are traumatized, said sources.
