The Delhi government will construct eight new hospitals in various parts of the national capital including rural areas where people face difficulties in availing health facilities in government hospitals. On completion, these hospitals will provide additional 2,000 beds in the city, Health Minister AK Walia said, reports IANS. An official statement said the Public Works Department (PWD) has done the spadework for starting the construction of these hospitals.
