The Delhi High Court on Wednesday gave its go-ahead for a new medical course called Bachelor of Rural Health Care to prepare a cadre of doctors to take care of the primary health needs of rural population. The course has been prepared by the Medical Council of India. Approving the course, a Division Bench of the Court comprising Justice Dipak Misra and Justice Manmohan asked the Council to prepare a curriculum for the course within two months. It directed the Union Government to notify the course within two months after preparation of the curriculum. Read more
