The State-run Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital will soon have modern CT-guided robotic equipment to conduct biopsies. Hospital authorities, who have submitted a proposal in this regard to the State Government, on Tuesday organised a CME programme on recent trends in CT guided interventions, advancement and benefits of robotic technology in cancer care, followed by a demonstration of the equipment. Addressing presspersons on the sidelines of the programme, Hospital Medical Superintendent Satishchandra said the hospital was keen on procuring the equipment and the process had begun.
