The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has granted approval to the proposal of deployment of 136 mobile health units in jhuggi jhonpri and slum clusters of the city. The proposal was given the go-ahead at the MCD Standing Committee this past Wednesday. “The project would be implemented by Keshav Dharmarth Trust. It would provide 136 mobile health units comprising 24 mobile health ambulances, 105 mobile health clinics and seven mobile health hospitals,” an MCD official said. Read more
