Capacity Building
In order to effectively use the community monitoring approach for improved health outcomes, organizations and practitioners need capacity strengthening. The various initiatives under COPASAH South Asia as anchored by South Asia regional node, CHSJ, have laid a good foundation for real practical social accountability and community monitoring. These included capacity building processes like trainings / workshops, learning exchange visits and targeted technical assistance. These have helped in bridging the knowledge and capacity gaps identified by members, besides generating interest in the learning strategies being promoted by COPASAH. More than 150 practitioners and their organization have been reached through various Capacity Building initiatives. Some of the capacity activities anchored by CHSJ in capacity of South Asia regional node include:
* Workshops * Facilitated Learning Exchange Visits * Targeted Technical Assistance
