Abhijit is a doctor with training in obstetrics, paediatrics and public health and has over twenty years experience in grassroots work, training, research and policy advocacy. He is founder member of the alliance on men and gender equality MASVAW, and the reproductive health and rights network Healthwatch Forum. He is also Clinical Assistant Professor of the School of Public Health and Community Medicine at the University of Washington, Seattle.

Bharti Prabhakar has joined CHSJ as Programme Officer in the health theme. She completed Master of Public Health (MPH) from BITS-Pilani and is a Homeopathy graduate.

Jagdish Lal
Jagdish has completed his post graduation in Sociology. He has been working in Uttrakhand and Uttar Pradesh since the last 12 years in the area of gender equality, violence against women and male participation in gender equality. His expertise are community mobilisation, script writing and direction for Nukad Natak and puppet show.
Lavanya Mehra
Lavanya is the Programme Manager of Information Management Team. She is also managing the HR related functions and Organizational Development in CHSJ. She holds M.Phil degree in Sociology and has studied HR from IIM Lucknow EPHRM.

Leena is the Advocacy Officer of the Coalition on Two Child Norm and Coercive Population Policies
Mahendra Kumar
Mahendra has more than ten years experience working at the community level. He is currently working with men on the issue of gender equality in Madhya Pradesh .

Nibedita Phukan
Nibedita is the Programme Officer, Research. She has been working with development sector for last six years and she has experienced in handling research and development communication projects. Her experiences include planning and implementation of projects, MIS developments for programmes and evaluation of programmes. She has also experienced in handling networking-related work with many CSOs and International organizations for building up knowledge base and platforms.

Sarita Barpanda
Sarita joined CHSJ in September 2012. She holds a BA in Sociology and an MA in Sociology & Anthropology from Sambalpur University, Odisha. She has been working in development in India for the last 17 years and has worked as a consultant on various European Union, DFID and government sexual and reproductive health and HIV&AIDS initiatives. Immediately prior to joining CHSJ, Sarita was the Country Programme Advisor to Interact Worldwide-UK. Sarita’s mother tongue is Oriya and she speaks fluent Hindi and English.

Satish is overseeing the thematic area of Men and Gender Equality in CHSJ. He has been working on social justice issues since 23 years and on the issue of gender equality, masculinity, sexuality and gender based violence since 10 years. He is a part of SAHAYOG, HUMSAFAR, FEM and Men Engage.
