Centre for Health and Social Justice organised an Annual Symposium on 10th and 11th December 2012 at Pandarpur of 100 Animators and 200 group members coming from five project sites of Pune, Akkalkot, Sangola, Beed and Kaij.
CHSJ has planned a National Capacity Building event during 27-29 October 2012 in Delhi. Around 25 participants are expected in the event which will focus on enhancing the understanding on men's role and responsibility as fathers in protection of child rights.

The two day work shop is organized to develop a common framework for developing the organizational case stories. These case stories will describe the story of Mahila Swasthya Adhikar Manch – Women’s Health Rights Forum (MSAM) and how they are monitoring their entitlements in health services and other services which are related to the social determinants of health. The story will describe their evolution, activities and results of their advocacy action with a focus on their empowerment process, their understanding and actions

Under the CHSJ's initiatives towards exploring role of men as responsible fathers towards advancement and protection of Child rights, one day State level meetings are organized in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh on 7th September 12 and 23rd September 12 respectively.
To take the discussion further after Fathers Care Mtg on 15th June 2012, CHSJ organised a Dialog on "History of Child Rights Protection in India" and conflicting issues within Feminist group and child rights group on the issues of child rights and women rights".
This press briefing was aimed at ringing the alarms on current target based approach in family planning, monitoring achievements in terms of CPR, massive sterilizations conducted driven both by incentives and disincentives in different states and challenging the continuing myths related with population like ‘population explosion’.
A one day long National Meeting with FEM members was held at Indian Social Institute, New Delhi on 16th of June 2012. Apart from core group members of FEM, total of 45 representatives across the country participated in the meeting.
CHSJ organised a "National Consultation on Exploring the Role of Men as Fathers in Protecting Children's Rights" on the occasion of International Fathers Day i.e. on 17th of June 2012 at New Delhi. The consultation gave an opportunity to hear, interact/reflect and share on different issues with regard to the possibilities of exploring role of men as fathers towards ensuring Gender equality and Child rights.
The National Civil Society Consultation on Family Planning was organized on June 8, 2012 at the India International Centre to deliberate on the outcomes of state level workshops held in 13 Indian states (Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chandigarh, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal) organized by the Family Planning Association of India and its partners.
